Privacy Policy
Last updated October 19, 2026
This policy explains what information ClaveloData LLC (“ClaveloData,” “we,” or “us”) collects through clavelodata.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers this website only. Data we handle for clients during an engagement is governed by the agreement we sign with that client.
The short version
- We collect what you send us through the contact form or by email, and we use it to reply to you.
- This site doesn’t set its own cookies or use ad trackers or session recording. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits, which doesn’t use cookies or track you across sites. Google’s booking calendar on the contact page is the one other outside service that loads when you visit.
- We don’t sell your information or share it for advertising.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you use the contact form, we receive your name, work email, phone number, company, the topic you pick (including Careers if you’d like to work with us) and your message, if you write one. If you email us, we receive whatever you include, such as a résumé or a portfolio link.
Information recorded when you send the form. Our server records the date and time and a scrambled version (a hash) of your IP address instead of the address itself. We use it only to limit repeat submissions and block spam.
Server logs. Our hosting provider may keep standard technical logs when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request. These are used only to keep the site running and secure.
Visit counts. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many visits each page gets, where visitors come from and how fast pages load. A small Cloudflare script reports the page address, the referring site, your browser and device type, your country and page load timing. It doesn’t use cookies or browser storage, doesn’t build a profile of you and doesn’t follow you across sites. We see only totals, never individual visitors.
What we don’t collect. This site doesn’t set its own cookies, use browser storage, run advertising pixels, or record sessions. The AI readiness check runs entirely in your browser, and your answers are never sent to us.
Services this site uses
- Google Calendar booking. On a computer, the contact page loads a booking calendar from Google. When it loads, Google receives your IP address and browser details and may use its own cookies, even if you don’t book. On a phone, the Book a call button opens Google’s booking page instead. If you book a time, Google receives what you enter. Google handles all of this under the Google Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab).
- Cloudflare. Cloudflare hosts the site, stores contact form submissions in a database on our behalf runs Turnstile, which checks in the background that a form submission comes from a person, not a bot, and provides Cloudflare Web Analytics, described above. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab) and the Turnstile Privacy Addendum (opens in a new tab).
- Resend. Resend delivers contact form submissions to our inbox by email. See the Resend Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab).
Cloudflare and Resend process your information only on our behalf and only as needed to provide their services. Links to other sites, such as LinkedIn or the research we cite, are covered by those sites’ own policies.
How we use your information
- To reply to your inquiry and schedule a call
- To prepare a proposal or carry out work you’ve asked us to do
- To consider you for work with us, if you picked Careers
- To keep the website secure and block spam
- To meet legal obligations
We use your phone number only to reach you about your inquiry. We won’t add you to a mailing list or send you marketing emails or texts unless you ask us to.
Sharing
We don’t sell personal information, and we don’t share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as California law defines those terms. We share it only with the service providers listed above, when the law requires it, or with a buyer or successor if the business is ever sold or merged, in which case this policy continues to apply to it.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry and application details only for as long as we need them to respond, follow up and keep a record of our conversations, and we delete them when they’re no longer needed. You can ask us to delete them sooner at any time. If you become a client, we keep records as our agreement and the law require.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, give you a copy, correct it or delete it. Email privacy@clavelodata.com. We may need to confirm your identity first, and you can have an authorized agent make the request for you. We’ll respond within 45 days.
Some states, including California and Texas, give residents specific rights under their privacy laws. We honor those rights for everyone. If we can’t do what you ask, we’ll explain why, and you can appeal by replying to our answer. We won’t treat you differently for making a request.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We don’t track visitors across websites. Apart from Google’s booking calendar described above, we don’t allow third parties to collect information about your activity over time and across other sites through this one. Because there’s no tracking to turn off, the site doesn’t change its behavior when your browser sends a Do Not Track signal. We treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing of your personal information, which we don’t do in any case.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we receive. The Security page describes how this site is set up. No website or email system is completely secure, so please don’t send sensitive data, such as passwords or customer records, through the contact form.
Children
This site is intended for businesses and isn’t directed at children under 16. We don’t knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we’ll delete it.
Visitors outside the United States
ClaveloData is based in the United States, and this site is intended for US businesses. If you contact us from elsewhere, your information is processed in the United States.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here and update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use information you’ve already sent us, we’ll ask for your consent first.
